Preschool Graduate

Posted on Jun 6, 2015 in Down Syndrome, Education, Motherhood, The Fam

Two years of hard work learning and growing (disguised as full-on social fun) and our baby has closed the books on preschool.

She has come so far since she first walked in that classroom — and I’m pretty sure she enjoyed every minute of it, considering the ways she talked about the teachers, her friends, and the bus.

This is her superstar teaching staff.  They had a little promotion ceremony and sang a rockin’ rendition of the ABC’s.  Look at the little lady, always a fan of singing.   It was so intimidating to move from Early Start to district-run preschool every day for 3 hours.  What is it going to be like going to kindergarten – up to six hours each day!?
